Meeting Reminder
Our September Association meeting is Thursday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. Meetings
typically last about an hour. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship
Hall (basement) of State Street Baptist Church, located at the corner
of State Street & L Avenue.
A public safety officer will at be the meeting to give us an update on crime in our are and note any attendee concerns.
Guest speaker - John Banks
John Banks will be speaking to us about the upcoming Congaree Bluegrass Festival, which is being held on October 1 & 2 at the Columbia Speedway. The festival has grown significantly in the last few years, and a new feature this year is the Artist Village on Saturday, October 1, which our association helped to organize.

In the Community
We have made arrangements for a special presentation of the Storm Water Drainage Study. The presentation will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Cayce Council Chambers.
We have an ongoing food drive to benefit God's Helping Hands. They
are always accepting food and monetary donations. This month, they are
especially in need of canned soup, peanut butter and dried beans.
Thank you on their behalf for any help you can provide. You can bring
any donation items to the meeting, and we'll be happy to take them to
God's Helping Hands. Or you can drop them off at 919 Holland Ave, Cayce, SC 29033. |
