January Association Meeting

Happy New Year, neighbors!

While it's hard to believe January 2015 is quickly passing us by and our January Association meeting will be held next Thursday, January 15 at 6:30 p.m. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall (basement) of State Street Baptist Church, which is located on the corner of State Street and L Avenue.

Our featured speaker will be Rebecca Vance, Cayce City Manager. She will be answering questions about the rezoning at K and Axtell. She will also have updates since Shaun Greenwood last visited our meeting.

We will also be presenting our museum donation from the Tree Lighting Project to Leo Redmond, Cayce Historical Museum Director.

This is a great time to get active in the neighborhood association since we have big plans for 2015; please mark your calendars for the following events:

• Neighborhood Chili Cook-off - February 21 at 1 p.m. at the Women's Club of Cayce (This will be in lieu our February meeting)
• Cayce Festival of the Arts - April 11 at the Brickworks on Knox Abbott (Like the Festive FB page & spread the word: www.facebook.com/caycefestivalofthearts)

We'll see you next Thursday. Have a great weekend.
