November Association Meeting

Meeting Reminder As a reminder, our Avenues November meeting is Thursday, November 8 at 6:30 p.m. Meetings typically last about an hour. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall (basement) of State Street Baptist Church, located at the corner of State Street & L Avenue. Ann Malpass, Woman's Club of Cayce Our guest speaker this month is Ann Malpass from The Woman's Club of Cayce. Ann is the Chairwoman of the Club's Annual Tree Lighting Project. She has exciting news to share about this year's tree lighting. Public Safety and Code Enforcement officers will also be in attendance to provide updates and answer questions.

Avenues Christmas Tree Fundraiser Flyers have gone out for the annual Christmas tree fundraiser. The price for the trees this year is $25; online ordering is available. The last day to order your tree is Wednesday, November 14. >>> CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO <<<

2017 Christmas Tree Lighting Fundraiser

The 2017 Avenues Christmas Tree Fundraiser has begun!

The cost this year is $22 per tree. 
Flyers are going out this week and next week via trashcan roll carts. 

The deadline to turn your order in is Saturday, November 18. 

Please take your orders to your street representative (see the back of your flyer), or bring it to the Avenues meeting on Thursday, November 16, which is being held at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall of State Street Baptist.

2016 Avenues Tree Lighting Fliers

The flyers for the 2016 Tree Lighting Project are going out this week. The sanitation department is attaching them to your garbage roll cart. Please watch for yours.

October Meeting Reminder and Speaker Announcement

Meeting Reminder

Our October Association meeting is Thursday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall (basement) of State Street Baptist Church.

Meetings typically last about an hour; light refreshments will be served.

Speaker Our featured speaker is the Congaree Riverkeeper Bill Strangler. You can read his biographcy at http://www.congareeriverkeeper.org/riverkeeper.  With the recent flooding challenges the Midlands has faced, it is a good time to learn more about our rivers and how to keep them healthy. A public safety officer will at be the meeting to give us an update on crime in our are and note any attendee concerns.

In the Community We have an ongoing food drive to benefit God's Helping Hands. They are always accepting food and monetary donations. In October, they are greatly in need of toiletry items. Thank you on their behalf for any help you can provide. You can bring any donation items to the meeting, and we'll be happy to take them to God's Helping Hands. Or you can drop them off at 919 Holland Ave, Cayce, SC 29033.

Avenues Tree Lighting Project - Tree Orders

Last day to turn in orders is Friday, November 13
Flyers with tree information will be distributed over the last two weeks of October.
 

Avenues Tree Lighting Project - Tree Pick-Up

Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-28
Volunteers will be needed! Tree pick-up will be held in the parking lot of the Masonic Lodge on the corner of Oakland Ave and 12th Street

Board Elections & Holiday Potluck

Thursday, Dec. 17 at 6:30p.m.
Please bring a dish or dessert to share. Traditionally, Santa has visited the meeting after elections are held.

Deadline for Avenues Christmas Tree Orders

Happy Friday Neighbors!

This is your reminder that today is the deadline for ordering Christmas trees for the Avenues Christmas Tree Lighting project. Please take your order forms to your street representative today.

If you want to order, but misplaced your flyer, you can order online this year and pay by Paypal. Just go to this link and complete the online form, and we'll send you a Paypal invoice: http://cayceavenues.blogspot.com/p/avenues-tree-lighting-pr…

2014 Christmas Tree Lighting Project

Flyers started going out this weekend for the Avenues Assssociation Christmas Tree Lighting Project.

We are fortunate that the Cayce Farmers Market was able to provide trees to us again for $20. Proceeds benefit the Cayce Historical Museum.
